English Translation
The Native Land
In our native land,
We witnessed the golden sun shining,
The chirping of birds in the forest ground,
Water flows while the breezes carries peace all around.
In our native land,
Youth are having fun,
Joy lives on within our hearts,
Though history holds its darker parts.
In our native land,
Much pain was endured,
So many lives in war were lost and forgotten.
Children, elders, women, those left helpless.
In our native land,
We do not lose our hope,
Its light starts to expand,
Rising now for tomorrow’s promised land.
In our native land,
Bangsamoro, rise to stand,
Destiny has the command,
Toward a prosperous homeland.
In our native land,
Salute to those who defend;
Who rose tall from suffering’s bend,
Their legacy we vow to tend.
Within our cherished homeland’s frame,
We honor your hallowed name.
We’ll set the story right, reclaim
The truth from thoughts that bear its blame.
In our native land,
Though varied cultures are our creed,
Acceptance is the bond we share.
And understanding is the strength we heed.
